What Is The Entropy Bed?…and what makes it so different?
The Entropy high-pressure tanning is more productive and faster than ordinary low-pressure tanning beds.
Here’s why:
Tanning is actually the body's natural defense mechanism for protecting against the sun's rays. Normally, the outer layer of skin exfoliates every 28 days. When exposed to high concentrations of UVB rays, the body is forced to exfoliate prematurely every 5-10 days. (This is why low-pressure tanners must tan more frequently to keep the outer layer of their skin looking brown). Because the Entropy filters out most of the UVB rays, your skin is able to maintain normal exfoliation, which in turn allows your skin to stay tan much longer! UVB rays are also responsible for burning. The Entropy has less than 1% UVB rays. This means that there is virtually No Burning!
Also, in response to UVB, our outer layer of skin thickens as a natural barrier to further UV exposure. It is this thickening that contributes to the appearance of fine-line wrinkles. UVA light does not cause the outer layer of skin to thicken.
